Competition for Young Saxophonists 2025
From March 1 to March 9, Dinant will resound to the rhythm of this competition open to (very) young saxophonists from Belgium and Luxembourg. On the stage of Dinant Cultural Centre, these talented young artists will be proving that they are the future world virtuosos.
It's a perfect springboard for all these emerging talents! In a few years' time they'll surely be taking part in the International Competition of Dinant, where they'll be competing against top saxophonists from all over the world.
Schedule
- 01 November 2024 : opening of registrations
- 31 December 2024 (minuit) : closing time for registrations
- 01 to 03 March 2025 : eliminatory round of the "inférieur", "moyen" and "supérieur" categories
- 08 and 09 March 2025 : "préparatoire" category and final round in other categories
Categories
- Préparatoire : up to 10-years-old (candidates born after 1 January 2014)
- Inférieur : up to 13-years-old (candidates born after 1 January 2011)
- Moyen : up to 16-years-old (candidates born after 1 January 2008)
- Supérieur : no age limits

You are an ensemble of saxophonists who would like to be selected to perform in Dinant as part of the 9th Competition for Young Saxophonists? Register and try to win this unique opportunity! A (first) concert under professional conditions in front of an audience of music lovers and a jury of experts ready to give you advice and guidance. Several prizes up for grabs!
